Public Service for the Stray Cats

This entry is dedicated to Weewee and Butters, the 2 rascals me and Mr Y miss sooo very much.

"Dik, Tolong passkan note ni dkt mamat yg tgh pakai laptop tu eh?" I asked one of the workers at the mamak shop to do me a favor.

"Yang mana satu kak?" She asked, looking a bit confused.

"Yg pakai specs tu, duduk sorang2 tu" I replied with a sweet smile. (takde la sweet sgt)

The girl looked at me, maybe she was wondering what was the content of my note?

With my 40-inch-belly, mustahil la if I were to give my phone number to the guy right? Plus I was having lunch there with Mr Y.

"Ape you tulis dlm note tu eh?" Mr Y asked me, he was just as curious as the 'lady messenger' inside the restaurant just now.

"Oh takde pape pon. Maybe it has something to do with my maternal instinct kot?" I said mysteriously.

Mr Y looked confused but decided to stop asking. I stared inside the restaurant (by then we were already in the car) and saw the guy received the note. He read it, looked around as if he was trying to locate the origin of the message. I smiled a satisfactory smile as we zoomed off.

30 minutes ago, when I was sitting in the restaurant with Mr Y, I couldn't stop feeling irritated with the guy's behaviour (the guy = recipient of my note). It was obvious that he wasn's a cat lover, well that didn't bother me so much. I've a lot of friends who happen to have no chemistry with cats, but at least they weren't cruel towards them. But this guy on the other hand, kicked the stray cats with no mercy whenever they approached him to beg for some attention and food. Come on dude, where is yr heart? If I were his gf, I would be dead turned-off with his heartless gestures towards innocent creatures of the Almighty. Am I being over-dramatic now?I must be driven by my maternal instincts again :p

But anyways, it made me feel like a good samaritan that day. It wasn't a necessary move, I know. But I believe I've done something good for the cats :) If you're wondering what's written in my note, well there's nothing dramatic in it, I was being really straight-forward. I just told him to stop kicking the cats, as it might lower his chance to woo girls if they see him doing that, hehehe.

So, the moral of the story is.. well you readers shld have figured it out already by now right? I am too sleepy to write already. It was new year 40 minutes ago, and concert on tv was bloody boring! So Happy New Year everyone and goodnight!

p/s: My husband will be known as Mr Y in all my entries, from now on.

If Carrie Bradshaw can have Mr Big, so why can't I have Mr Y? :D

Aku sekadar bertempiaran je bila ada kucing menggedik dekat2. Ahaha...
